The electric connector consists of three basic units: shell, insulator and contact body.

Shell

The electrical connector housing refers to the shell of the plug and socket, the connecting nut, and the tail accessories. The shell is used to protect the insulator and the contact body (a common name for the pin jack) and other parts of the electrical connector from damage. The upper positioning keyway ensures that the plug and socket are positioned. Connection nut for plug block connection and disconnection. The tail accessory is used to protect the connection between the conductor and the contact body from damage and to fix the cable. The shell also has a certain electromagnetic shielding function.

The shell is generally made of aluminum alloy processing (machine adding, cold extrusion, die casting). Steel shell is mainly used for glass sealing welding and high temperature resistant electrical connectors.

Insulators

It consists of a pin insulator and a jack insulator. Interface sealing body, sealing line body, etc. Used to keep the pin jack in the set position, and make each contact body and each contact body and the shell between the electrical insulation. The insulation and interface sealing body are used to obtain the sealing measures to improve the environmental resistance of electrical connectors.

In order to adapt to the high temperature, low temperature and flame retardant of the product, ensure the stability and reliability of the geometric dimension of the parts. Insulators are mostly molded by thermosetting plastics. The interface sealing body and the sealing line body are molded by silicone rubber.

The contact body

Contact body includes positive contact parts and negative contact parts, sometimes also known as pin jack, connection mode is divided into welding type, crimping type, pressing type and wound type, etc., used to realize circuit connection.

The pin jack is the key component of the electrical connector, which directly affects the reliability of the electrical connector. Most of the pins and jacks are made of elastic copper alloy material with good conductive performance, and the surface is plated with silver and gold to achieve the purpose of low contact resistance and corrosion prevention. Jacks are generally split slot jacks, wire spring jacks, crown spring jacks and punching jacks.

Structure features: environmental resistance, BAYONet type (fast) connection, multi-key position (anti-misinsertion), contact body and wire crimping connection, (single root to facilitate fault handling). Enclosure with shielding ring to ensure 360° electromagnetic interference shielding ability.

1. Check

2. Place

Temporarily without the connector, don't put the connector, especially with in a sunny place, such as negligence forget to put up, the connector will appear because of long time of sunlight on the quality of damage, which affects his use, there will be accidents, even as we carefully remember connector can save the place, Must not because of negligence, and the occurrence of safety accidents.

3. Environmental impact

High temperature place, you can't place the connector, the temperature of the continuous high temperature or humidity, will damage the connector, especially with chemicals in the environment, the connector will be corrosion, which lost to protect the metal protective layer outside the role of the inside of the current line damage, not the normal conduction function, can become a scrap.

4. Move

When moving the connector, be careful not to touch a hard object, which may cause damage to the connector. Do not put the connector under a heavy object to avoid damaging the connector.

5. Avoid grease
