Connector bayonet conforms to GJB101-97 standard. With reference to the American standards. They are equailvant to JY series, YB series and MS series, MS series. They can cooperate in use with the receptacles which have the same type. This series bayonet connectors are quick coupled by bayonets. Their contacts are soldered.
Bayonet connectors are a circular connector that delivers a secure and easy to operate connection by turning the locking ring until it latches into the mechanism. This standardized locking type allows for faster and more secure connections, compared to screw and push-fit connectors. It is often referred to as a “quick-disconnect” connector because complete coupling or decoupling is achieved with a quick one-third turn of the coupling nut.
A bayonet connection consists of a male and female connector that can easily be installed without any field welding or unique training. The tight-fitting male and female bayonet design provides a long heat path from the outer jacket to the inner pipe. This creates a low heat leak connection.
Bayonet connectors are used to transmit either power or signal. A reverse-bayonet coupling configuration is often used in connectors that previously involved threaded coupling. The bayonet pins are on the underside of the coupling nut.Bayonet connectors are use in a wide range of markets, including Transportation, Medical, and MIL-Aero, and for a variety of applications including aircraft, off-road vehicles, construction machinery, industrial devices, and Test & Measurement.
